Families enjoy the vrijmarkt (free market) where children can sell their old toys, vibrant street parades with floats and music, face painting, craft workshops, and playground celebrations. Many parks host special King's Day activities with games and entertainment for children.
Vrijmarkten (flea markets) pop up throughout Rotterdam on King's Day. Streets, parks, and public squares are filled with vendors selling vintage toys, clothes, and memorabilia. It's a fun family activity to hunt for treasures and meet neighbors!
