Explorio World (explorioworld.com) is an event discovery platform helping families find things to do across European cities. Operated by Moonera Companion.

Data we collect

• ▸Account data — name and email address when you sign in via Google OAuth.
• ▸Preferences — city, children's age groups, and preferred language, if you choose to set them.
• ▸Saved events & RSVPs — events you bookmark or mark as Going.
• ▸Usage data — anonymous page views and interactions via Vercel Analytics.
• ▸Newsletter signups — email address if you subscribe.

How we use your data

• ▸To personalise event recommendations based on your city and children's ages.
• ▸To save your bookmarks and RSVP status across sessions.
• ▸To send optional newsletters about upcoming events (only if subscribed).
• ▸To improve the platform via aggregated, anonymous analytics.

Cookies

We use:

• ▸Essential cookies — for authentication sessions (NextAuth).
• ▸Analytics cookies — Vercel Analytics (privacy-preserving, no cross-site tracking).
• ▸Preference storage — theme, language, and onboarding flags stored in localStorage (not transmitted to our servers).

We do not use advertising cookies or share data with ad networks.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• ▸Vercel — hosting and infrastructure (EU region).
• ▸Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting.
• ▸Google — OAuth sign-in only (we receive your name and email).
• ▸Resend — transactional email delivery.

Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account and all associated data by emailing us. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 90 days.
